I have always been a big fan of Japanese cellphones. They’re light years ahead of any model you can get here in the US in terms of function, capabilities, and durability. This just proves it:
The handheld phone, equipped with various devices that can measure your pulse or the amount of steps you’ve taken in a day, dispenses heath advice after you’ve punched in statistics such as gender, age and weight.
And you can also exhale into the phone and it will tell you whether its time to reach for the breath mints.
You can read the rest of the article here. Now while I’m all for being concerned with one’s health I have to raise an eyebrow at the breath tester function bit of it. That just might be going a bit too far.
Of course, if you’re a vampire it might be nice to test people’s breath and see if they’ve eaten garlic recently.

This is amazing! Imagine a cellphone that can measure your heartbeat! Trully amazing. I wonder when this will be released in the Philippines. I would really love to check this out.
they should make the phone dial 911 if the heart rate goes down to 0 and is still connected.
wow, that is cool. It’s amazing what you can do with nowadays technology — breath mints!!!
those add ons sound lame… you always know when u need a breath mint and what do u need to know ur heart rate for? i doubt it even being that accurate… if they want to make a cool cell phone, make one with a laser or some kind of weapon on it ;o
It may sound lame for some but still it is amazing for many. This kind of cellphone will really help those people that are forgetting things about them. For instance, a lot of people are not aware that they have breath problems, so this device can tell them without hurting their feelings or being offended. It helps right?
Gadgets like this is made for purpose. What is it? To HELP.
