Superbad, starring Jonah Hill and Michael Cera, from the hit television series Arrested Development, is a teen based comedy that revolves around the not so bright but always hysterical antics of two high school seniors Evan (Michael Cera) and Seth (Jonah Hill) who stage one hell of a kegger, that unfortunately for them, goes very wrong very fast. The results…, well, you’ll just have to see the trailers and movie for yourself.

The movie, which carries an R rating due to language, drug usage, and sexual content, is set to open up in theaters on August 17th but truth be told, the “Superbad” fun has already begun.
On August 1st, and only on August 1st, you will be able to see all five of the Superbad videos on the YouTube.com homepage. I checked a few moments ago and it looks like they’ve already begun to get some stuff up. There is currently a link to watch the restricted clips on the official Superbad website up as well. This movie looks promising and hopefully will deliver the promises of entertainment and comedy that its trailers and clips offer up.
You can further join in on the hilarity and show your interest in the movie by downloading some Superbad ringtones, wallpapers, and other downloadables at their official site.

I’m not a fan of Hillary Rodham Clinton, that’s a well known fact. I would love to have a female president some day but Hilary Clinton is not who I would like to see take that honor and duty. But seeing this just really burns me up:
WASHINGTON - They were high school friends from Park Ridge, Ill., both high achievers headed East to college. John Peavoy was a bookish film buff bound for Princeton, Hillary Rodham a driven, civic-minded Republican going off to Wellesley. They were not especially close, but they found each other smart and interesting and said they would try to keep in touch.
Which they did, prodigiously, exchanging dozens of letters between the late summer of 1965 and the spring of 1969. Ms. Rodham’s 30 dispatches are by turns angst-ridden and prosaic, glib and brooding, anguished and ebullient — a rare unfiltered look into the head and heart of a future first lady and senator and would-be president. Their private expressiveness stands in sharp contrast to the ever-disciplined political persona she presents to the public now.

I’m a bit torn up on this, certainly there is nothing in these letters that I find to be damaging really, though I’m sure many will drag up what they need from them. What I can’t help but to see here are correlations between Clinton today and what happened back then to Geraldine Ferraro. We certainly don’t see college letters surfacing by “friends” for other candidates but when we have a female candidate the proverbial dirt is already being dug on her up before any other candidate.
Are we ready for a female president or is our nation already taking steps to keep t from happening?

Now we all heard about the helplines and support centers that were created in anticipation of the great amount of stress and grief many readers would endure as a result of the conclusion of the popular Harry Potter series. Whether it be because the much beloved series had reached an end or the deaths of many characters, therapists and authorities alike feared what the outcome might be. I think we all laughed and rolled our eyes at what could only be perceived as an alarmist reaction yet according to this blog post a young girl in the Philippines took her life after downloading and reading, what she and her mother believed, to be the real-deal.
Prior to the book’s release many real and false copies of the book were floating around on the internet. The “book” the girl read was indeed a fake, and after it’s sad and gruesome end the young girl locked herself in her room and hung herself.
After stumbling upon that I’m really at a loss at what to say here. I want to be sympathetic to the girl and her family but I just can’t get beyond the absurdity of it. Yeah it was a good series, but folks, it’s fiction and not even real. Chill.

It doesn’t matter if you’re fortunate enough to own a beautiful outdoor fireplace, bricked grill, or even just your cheap under ten dollars grill from Wal-Mart. The fact is that the summer is coming to an end and you need to enjoy it while you can. So bust out the materials and try this sizzling recipe:
Jerk Steak Kabobs With Pineapple Salsa
The hot Caribbean coating on the meat is the perfect foil for our cool tropical salsa. If you like, flame-cook pineapple wedges next to kabobs.
Ingredients:
- Pineapple Salsa:
- 2 limes
- ripe pineapple, rind removed, cored, and coarsely chopped
- 1 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
- 1 jalapeño chile, seeded and minced
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
- Jerk Steak Kabobs:
- 2 green onions, minced
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon grated, peeled fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
- 1 boneless beef top sirloin steak, 1 1/4 inches thick (1 1/2 pounds), cut into 1 1/4-inch cubes
- 4 long metal skewers
Directions:
1. Prepare Pineapple Salsa: From limes, grate 1/2 teaspoon peel and squeeze 2 tablespoons juice. In medium bowl, mix lime peel and juice with remaining salsa ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes about 4 cups.
2. Meanwhile, in large bowl, mix all kabob ingredients except steak and skewers. Add steak cubes and toss to coat well; let stand 15 minutes to marinate.
3. Thread steak cubes on skewers. Place skewers on grill over medium heat; cook 8 to 10 minutes for medium-rare, turning occasionally. Serve kabobs with salsa.
