It appears that there has been yet another citing of the Loch Ness Monster recently. Only this time someone managed to make a video of it.
EDINBURGH, Scotland - The Loch Ness monster is back — and there’s video.
A man has captured what Nessie watchers say is possible footage of the supposed mythical creature beneath Scotland’s most mysterious lake.
“I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this jet black thing, about 45 feet long, moving fairly fast in the water,†said Gordon Holmes, a 55-year-old lab technician from Shipley, Yorkshire, who took the video Saturday.
Nessie watcher and marine biologist Adrian Shine viewed the video and hoped to properly analyze it in the coming months.
“I see myself as a skeptical interpreter of what happens in the loch, but I do keep an open mind about these things and there is no doubt this is some of the best footage I have seen,†said Shine, of the Loch Ness 2000 center in Drumnadrochit, on the shores of the lake.
Holmes said whatever it was moved at about 6 mph and kept a fairly straight course.
“My initial thought is it could be a very big eel, they have serpentlike features and they may explain all the sightings in Loch Ness over the years.â€
What do you think? Is it possible that the Loch Ness monster does exist or is this just another elaborate hoax? Remember the first “real photograph” that was taken of Nessie was later debunked by the children of the man who took the photo. He told them how it was done and later after his death the children leaked it to the press.

Mari saw that on Digg. Mari thinks it’s just another elaborate hoax.
This question if the Loch Ness montster is real has been asked for decades. I remember watching documentaries on TV of sigthings of Nessie. Really, nobody can tell unless someone can catch it.
I have never believed in this ‘monster’ and I don’t think I ever will. But I kind of want someone to prove me wrong.
I’ve been reading about this a little and it seems that people are thinking it’s the best evidence to date.
Like the Artist said “nobody can tell unless someone can catch it”
I’m thinking it’s a low cloud casting a shadow on the water.
I (and we) can only hope that someday this mystery is solved, hopefully in a “found” manner.
I saw a documentary a few years back about Nessie where this Adrian Shine guy appeared at length. He’s comprehensively disconnected with what the rest of us call reality, I’m afraid!
And the only one with any chance of catching Nessie is Bigfoot, aided and abetted by Sherlock Holmes and Wonder Woman…….
Steve
I saw that same documentary, and you’re right Shine is mildly out of his mind, but interesting none the less. I’ve been to the loch many years ago when i visited Scotland and you could just feel this sense of quiet excitement throughout the town. i want to beleive in it and i hope somebody eventually finds it.
