GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — A Mickey Mouse lookalike who preached Islamic domination on a Hamas-affiliated children’s television program was beaten to death in the show’s final episode Friday.
In the final skit, “Farfour” was killed by an actor posing as an Israeli official trying to buy Farfour’s land. At one point, the mouse called the Israeli a “terrorist.”
“Farfour was martyred while defending his land,” said Sara, the teen presenter. He was killed “by the killers of children,” she added.
The weekly show, featuring a giant black-and-white rodent with a high-pitched voice, had attracted worldwide attention because the character urged Palestinian children to fight Israel. It was broadcast on Hamas-affiliated Al Aqsa TV.
Station officials said Friday that Farfour was taken off the air to make room for new programs. Station manager Mohammed Bilal said he did not know what would be shown instead.
Israeli officials have denounced the program, “Tomorrow’s Pioneers,” as incendiary and outrageous. The program was also opposed by the state-run Palestinian Broadcasting Corp., which is controlled by Fatah, Hamas’ rival.

I can’t help but to see this as a continuance of hate and violence. Aren’t we supposed to be concerned with the world that our children will inherit? Why then are we teaching them to hate and continue the vicious cycle we’re already in?

I really couldn’t tell you much about how to file for a Delaware LLC, though I could fill you in on many intricacies of owning and running a business in New Mexico.
If you are getting reading to start up your own business than you might be interested in visiting some sites that can not only give you the information you seek but also help you to get the paperwork rolling as well. IncParadaise.com is one of these such places.
IncParadise’s website offers online filing service to help start a corporation, for all fifty states. Living in Hawaii or Alaska? For once you’re not left out! If you’re still unsure and leary about getting started and have some questions you need, no want, answered then you might want to view their Frequently Asked Questions section which handles some basic concerns, such as the differences between an LLC, Corporation, and S-corp, as well as some very intelligent questions I was pleased to note.
Most accountants and bookkeepers will charge a hefty fee for handling this process for you. IncParadise charges a rate of $89 dollars, plus individual State fees and taxes to get all of your paperwork rolling. I can’t say that’s the best price I’ve seen, since I know for a fact that there are at least two local bookkeepers (one of which is a CPA) who will charge less, but then again that is local (NM). I can however say that the asking price is very reasonable and most probably one of the best you’ll find.

ST. LOUIS - A two-headed snake named “We,” the main attraction at the World Aquarium, has died.
The 8-year-old rat snake died of natural causes during the weekend, said caretaker Leonard Sonnenschein. Most two-headed snakes survive for only a week or two.
“It’s terrible news,” Sonnenschein said. “People come in every day and say: ’I’m here to see the two-headed snake.”’
Sonnenschein said more than a million people have seen We over the years. Children were especially fascinated by the snake, wondering how two heads could coexist on the same body as We sometimes strained to slither in two directions at once.
“These kinds of questions helped spur the science spirit in children,” Sonnenschein said.
Sonnenschein said he bought We from a snake breeder in Indiana for $15,000 when the reptile was just a few weeks old.
A taxidermist is preserving We’s body, which should be back on display within a week, Sonnenschein said.

This saddens me beyond words. Snakes are such beautiful and misunderstood animals and to thinkt hat one so rare and beautiful as this one has passed on makes want to cry. I have never seen a double headed snake myself and would have loved to meet this one.

It’s summer time and in general people usually prefer to do their traveling in the summer. Maybe it’s because the kids are out of school, though with year round schooling now that may not be the case any longer, or maybe it’s the heat that people love. What ever the case most people find them selves planning vacations for the warm months of the year.
If you are planning a trip this summer, or perhaps looking to book ahead for a special event, you really ought to check out HotelReservations.com. They offer a large selection of vacation packages, deals, and promotions that will help the weary traveler cut back on expenses. I’m fairly familiar with the area I live in and which hotels and motels would be the cheapest but nicest to stay at. Whenever I browse these sort of sites I like to ’search’ my area and see if any of them come up, usually they don’t. HotelReservations.com managed to surprise me in this aspect, as they all appeared. Impressive.
The booking procedure is fairly straight forward and easy to go through, another big plus here, and there is even a toll free number to call and book with if you prefer to avoid online transactions.
Cheap Hotels are not always roach motels and HotelReservations.com does an excellent job of pointing out all of the suitable accommodations in a given area in a range of prices. You’re bound to find the right place to book at with them. Not searching for a motel or hotel to stay at, but rather an affordable rental or resort? That’s okay! Despite the misleading name Hotel Reservations also books for these accommodations as well. I don’t have any experiance with pricing for resorts and rentals so I cannot really say if Hotel Reservations saves you a lot of money and offers a good selection on packages and deals in those aspects but the process does seem fairly simple. If they treat all accommodations similarly than you can without a doubt expect excellent service in that regard as well.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A jockey who kicked his horse in the stomach before a race was suspended for 30 days and fined $1,000 by Philadelphia Park officials on Monday.
The decision against veteran jockey Victor Molina came three days after his 40-minute disciplinary hearing for kicking 2-year-old colt Yes Yes Ohyes. Molina, a 27-year veteran who’s been racing at Philadelphia Park since 1988, hoped for only a fine and was surprised by the severity of the penalties issued by the track’s stewards.
“The kick wasn’t what I’m about,” Molina said by phone. “The penalty doesn’t warrant what I did. I got punished a little harder than other ones. I think most people around the track, if you asked them, would say it was a little too harsh. People in the industry wouldn’t judge me the way I’ve been judged.”
Molina’s agent, David Yannuzzy, said he was considering an appeal. The suspension was retroactive to June 19 — the day after Molina was ejected from the park — and continues to July 18. Yannuzzy blamed the officials for overreacting because Molina’s kick was simulcast to tracks around the country and was live on racing channel TVG, prompting fans who saw the act to call the track and complain.

You know I’m really not liking these people’s attitudes. They act as if kicking a horse if perfectly fine and an everday occurence. If it is occuring everyday then there is something seriously wrong here. This attitude of “oh it happens, but it’s just a $250 fine” is absurd. Talk about a lack of regard for the welfare of animals. And this upset that the jockey got a harsher punishment? Is this blogger’s eyes the stiffer punishment was just long overdue.
